First anniversary speech

I don’t read a whole lot these days. At least not fiction. And so nothing has replaced “The Book of Ebenezer Le Page” as my favourite ‘modern’ novel.

Ebenezer, the storyteller, is an old man going back over the details of his life on the island of Guernsey, and considering those that defined him.
